Almost eight years after the opening of the first “Lile in Cucina” we have now completed the new Lile in piazzale Maciachini, an area that is going through a period of transformation as part of the vision for Milan 2030. The project focuses on few selected elements and materials. The articulation of a technical ceiling, which leaves all systems visible, is associated with the linearity of the white surfaces of the walls, the industrial concrete floor and the pastel colors of the linoleum used for the furnishings. The frames and elements in chestnut recall the lines and atmosphere of the first location in via Guicciardini, which no longer exists today.
