The project represents a challenge in terms of spatial distribution: an apartment of 110 sqm, in Milan city center, is remodeled with the objective of accommodating spaces and needs of a family of four. As in a boat, everything finds its place and its autonomy from the whole. The process of reinterpretation of the original architecture goes through an operation of juxtaposing the new functional volumes and the hystorical elements and finishings, in order to preserve the atmosphere and character of the original apartment.
