The project for an important renovation of an apartment on the sixth floor of a building in Corso Sempione in Milan in which the design proposal interprets the unique condition of a space, suspended in the clouds, while grounded by the historical Milanese axis below. It is a space that opens up, on three sides of the plan, with visual perspectives that connect various points of the home. The project takes into account the exigencies of the client, a family of five, focusing on the distribution of strictly private places according to the context of the family, and other more open and fluid spaces in the living area. The materials are repeated throughout; oak on the floor and on the internal facades, alternating with brushes of white laminate. Ceramic tiles, in the kitchen and the bathrooms, are used in geometric patterns.
