The landscape of the Pineta di Arenzano acts as the juxtaposition of the overflowing nature of the promontory and some extraordinary examples of modern architecture from the 50’s and 60’s.A common language is employed but certain peculiarities make each unit unique. Large windows that frame the panoramic views, green roofs that speak to the lush nature of the context, and slender, light structures are the themes that reappear in every villa. Stone, plaster and wood are used to identify with the local architecture and, more generally, the Mediterranean villa typology.
